Dating back to 1964, Bel’s of Greystones, was a famous draper & family fashion shop in the village for many years. Owned by Alan & Lucy Bell, they decided after 35 successful years in business to finally closed their doors back in 1999.

The new Chef Patron Jeff Norman and his Wife Tara Norman reopened it as a restaurant in 2007. Backstage@Bels has kept the family tradition alive, being run by Jeff & Tara, along with Tara’s three children and Tara’s mother, Theresa.

Backstage@Bels is set in the coastal village, and hosts a theatrical theme. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with good value for money. With a sitting capacity of 60 and a front heated terrace area, we can cater for family events such as christenings, birthday parties, small weddings. We are child friendly and we cater for children with our ‘Speciality Kids Menu’. We also cater for all dietary needs.

All our food is sourced locally were possible, and could be described as ‘Modern European’ with Fresh Seafood & Wild Game a speciality.
